CHEERS TO 4 YEARS: Q&A panel with WOO Board and Special Guest: We’ve gathered our Board of Directors: Sarah Marriage (President), N. Shalon Edwards (Vice President), Erin Nutsugah (Secretary), Aspen Golann and Special Guest, Jennifer-Navva Milliken (Artistic Director of the Center for Art in Wood) to talk about WOO, the value engrained in spaces like WOO and the mission of WOO moving into our 5th year.
TOUR OF THE SHOP: WOO welcomed so many new members and friends to our community during lockdown through our newly developed From WOO to You virtual programming and realized some of you have never visualized where we once gathered to commune over wood and craft. While our physical building has remained closed during the pandemic, we have worked hard to hold onto the space and maintain the woodshop knowing that we will one day soon reopen and share this space together again. So we’re showing off our cherished space and the renovation results of the WOO Pit Crew’s -Aspen Golann, Chelsea Witt, Kelly Harris and Claire Minihan- pit stop in March 2020, as well as continued progress we’ve made over the last year.
