This is an IN-PERSON volunteer work event.
Meet, work, and learn at the WOO Work Party this Sunday from 1pm-4pm.
During these three (3) hours we will have a meet & greet, work on some shop beautification, discuss a section of the new volunteer handbook, and have a quick lesson on the miter saw & measuring tape where we will learn the ins & outs (and a few secrets) of these beloved shop tools.
WOO is a non-profit safe space for underrepresented genders in our field. As such, participation is limited to non-binary, trans, and woman-identifying folks over the age of 18.

Morgan M. Ward has been a tradeswoman for more than 10 years. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Sculpture from the University of Georgia. She’s worked in the fields of residential renovations, HVAC, and in historic preservation as a tinsmithing apprentice. She’s had the honor of working in people’s homes, as well as historic buildings and museums, such as the Maryland State House in Annapolis and the National Building Museum in DC.
When not swinging a hammer, she can be found working as WOO's Director of Education and as your friendly local Moderator in WOO’s virtual workshops. In real life, you can find her biking & hiking around the mid-Atlantic with binoculars looking at birds. White-breasted nuthatches are a current favorite.
