This is an IN-PERSON CLASS.
Learn how to build your own small wall-hung cabinet from ash lumber in this intensive one-week class. Over this week, the instructor will guide you through the design & building process, from ideation & drafting to joinery & assembly to finishing & mounting.
Students will learn how to turn their ideas into shop drawings, and how to create a cut list from those drawings. Examples of classic and popular wood joinery will be demonstrated for students to incorporate into their cabinet design. Students will receive hands-on instruction on a variety of woodworking machines including the jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, routers, sanders, and more.
All skill levels welcome. No prerequisites.
WOO is a non-profit safe space for training underrepresented genders in our field. As such, enrollment is limited to non-binary, trans, and woman-identifying folks over the age of 18.
