This is an IN-PERSON CLASS.
In this workshop, students will learn techniques for finishing wood using basic wood finishes from shellac and wax, to polyurethanes, penetrating oils, and newer hardwax oils.
The instructor will discuss application methods for each type of finish. Techniques for brushing, wiping, flooding, and spraying will be covered, as well as when and why to use the different techniques.
Students will practice different techniques on sample boards that they can take home for future reference.
This class is part of our WOOD FINISHING series of classes.
If you have a small project that needs finishing, bring it along!
